Mount Lincoln Ascent Certificate
Commemorate your hike up Mount Lincoln with this custom souvenir certificate. Fill in your name as you want it on the certificate along with the date of your hike, the time and traveling companions. We'll print your information and frame your certificate before sending it to you UPS Ground. The artwork for each mountain was created specifically for this project so you will be receiving a unique commemoration that is only available as part of our series of 14er certificates. We print each certificate on acid-free 38lb card stock. We will frame your certificate in a made-in-the-USA frame. Each certificate comes with our Mount Holy Cross foil seal of authenticity.
Mount Lincoln quick facts:
- Summit: 14,286 feet.
- Mount Lincoln is part of a four-mountain group known as the Decalibron. If you start early enough in the day and the weather cooperates, you can climb Lincoln, Bross, Democrat, and Cameron.
- Mount Lincoln was named by Wilbur Stone immediately following the election of Lincoln as president. Wilbur Stone also assisted in writing the Colorado constitution.
- The area around these four peaks is covered in mines and for a while, the peaks were shut off by the mine owners in 2006, fearing liability issues. Since then, all the peaks have reopened except for the summit of Bross.
