Huron Peak Ascent Certificate
Commemorate your hike up Huron Peak with this custom souvenir certificate. Fill in your name as you want it on the certificate along with the date of your hike, the time and traveling companions. We'll print your information and frame your certificate before sending it to you UPS Ground. The artwork for each mountain was created specifically for this project so you will be receiving a unique commemoration that is only available as part of our series of 14er certificates. We print each certificate on acid-free 38lb card stock. We will frame your certificate in a made-in-the-USA frame. Each certificate comes with our Mount Holy Cross foil seal of authenticity.
Huron Peak quick facts:
- Summit: 14,009 feet.
- Huron Peak is one of the shortest 14ers in the Sawatch range.
- The peak wasn't named until 1956. The naming history isn't clear as the name has been claimed to come from the name of a nearby mine and from the Huron tribe.
- In 1994, a Flight for Life helicopter crashed while attempting a rescue on Huron Peak. The pilot and nurse were both killed.
